Alexa Yellow Ring Light

Alexa Blue Spinning Ring Light
Amazon Echo: Full ring LED. Blue + spinning cyan = listening. Blue spinning quickly = actively sending audio to servers. Blue + cyan for 3+ seconds after you stop talking = processing complex request.
Alexa Orange Light — Setup Mode
Amazon Echo: Spinning orange = setup or no Wi-Fi. This behavior is consistent across all Echo models. The Alexa app is required for setup and reconfiguration.
Alexa Green Ring — Incoming Call or Active Call
Amazon Echo: Green ring consistently means calling/Drop In across all Echo models. Spinning = incoming. Pulsing = active. Brief flash = call command confirmed.
Smart Speaker Won't Respond — Light Behavior Guide
Amazon Echo: Red ring = mic muted (button on top). Orange ring spinning = no Wi-Fi. No response after blue ring = internet issue (brief blue flash = it heard you but couldn't get AI response). No LED response at all = frozen — needs restart.
